RIP to all those that have lost their lives. Including my beautiful dad aged only 54 and diagnosed with liver cancer a year ago in June 2020 which then spread to his spine and paralysed him from the chest down, taking his mobility and dignity from him. It then spread throughout his body, causing an agonisingly painful death a few weeks ago on 10th June 2021. The most beautifully kind, giving, forgiving and caring person you could ever hope to meet. Lost to his wife and children, with youngest being only 17yrs old. Never got to experience grandchildren, retirement, walking his daughters down the aisle, or just enjoying his time on earth as this took everything from him in life before actually taking his life. I hope that Sir Brian reads this and understands that this is still killing people. These haematologists are still not recognising the symptoms of liver disease and then cancer in previous Hep C patients. I can’t believe he’s gone. My heart will never heal. I’m broken
